I am reminiscing our trip to this lovely and romantic town of Riquewihr in France. This town is not only popular for tourist attractions and its historical architecture but also for its Riesling (a sparkling wine) and other great wines produce in this area. This is a member of the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (“The most beautiful villages of France”) association.
We had a walk on some parts of its Old Town. I was amazed by the old buildings that I saw there especially on how they keep its look from the 16th century until now. Good to know that this village is not damaged during the bombings of the World War II. Don’t miss to walk around and see some of its famous sights like the Dolder tower and its medieval fortifications. This village is truly beautiful!
