It is Fasching or carnival season in Germany. I was browsing awhile ago for some pictures in my external hard drive. I was looking particularly about the photos I took during the Fasching or carnival parade held four years ago in the town of Velburg in Neumarkt, Bavaria. Witnessing such event especially if you are not from Germany is very interesting.
The carnival parade in Velburg last 2009 is not really a big one compared to the famous ones in Cologne, Mainz or Dusseldorf but it is still worth to experience. You can find colorful fancy carnival costumes, decorated floats, bands and drum and bugle corps and you can see a lot of people singing, dancing and shouting during the parade.
I had fun when we witnessed the Faschingszug or carnival parade in this town of Velburg.
Hi dear friends and visitors!! thanks for visiting me here!! Have a great and blessed day!!
