Hamburg is the so-called “Germany’s gateway to the world”. If I am not mistaken the biggest port in Germany is located here. We had a short 2-hours sightseeing in this city which is not really enough to see many sights. Oh well, I was glad that I was there even just for a short time. Our final destination that time was in the Baltic states.
Hamburg, officially Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is the second largest city in Germany and the sixth largest city in the European Union. It is also the thirteenth largest German state. I am hoping to visit this city again.
The Landungsbrücken in Hamburg during our short 2-hours sightseeing last September 2012.
The city is a major tourist destination for both domestic and overseas visitors; Hamburg ranked 17th in the world for livability in 2012, and, in 2010, the city ranked 10th in the world.
Hi dear friends and visitors!! thanks for visiting me here!! Have a great and blessed day!!
