It is almost a year now since our last visit to Venice, Italy. I have been to this Italian city thrice and still want to come back again. During my third visit, we finally had the chance to ride a gondola and explore some of the canals in this city. I considered this place one of the most interesting in Europe and it is one of the reasons why I keep on going back there. It is even said that Venice has more tourists that residents, quite impressing!
Our gondola ride cost 85.00 Euros that time for up to 6 people. Quite expensive but it was a great experience exploring some of the canals in Venice.

Venice is located in the northeast of Italy. It is renowned for the beauty of its setting, its architecture and its artworks. It looks like a small city but it is quite huge with over hundred of islands in the main districts that are called “Sestieri”. There are lot sights to visit in this city. Among the few are the Doge’s Palace or Palazzo Ducale, St. Mark’s Basilica, Rialto Bridge and many many more.
Hi dear friends and visitors!! thanks for visiting me here!! Have a great and blessed day!!
